What if the body of Christ in your city were to come together in greater unity? Imagine what would be possible if we set aside our differences, joined together in prayer, service, partnership, and proclamation?

Imagine the impact if Christians mobilized to serve the city and pray for the lost -- sharing the Gospel on a grand scale. What if greater bridges were built across denominational, ethnic, economic and social lines, focusing on a long-term, sustainable commitment to serving the community and sharing the Gospel.

How would it change your city? How would it change your community?

This is the vision of Palau Festivals.

You care about your city. You want to see the Good News proclaimed and lived out to every individual. And you're working hard to make that happen every day. We want to join with you to cast an even bigger vision for long-term unity and collaboration in the body of Christ . . . serving the city and sharing the clear message of Jesus Christ on a grand scale.

It can happen through a Palau citywide campaign - a powerful opportunity for believers to unite and reach their community with the love and Good News of Jesus Christ.

These free, family-friendly festivals engage every level of the community, from civic leaders to church congregations. They demonstrate the love of Jesus and proclaim His Good News on a massive scale. They incorporate great music, great fun, jaw-dropping action sports demonstrations, a Family Fun Zone, prison outreaches, and powerful affinity events for many sectors of society. And through it all, Luis and Andrew Palau will share the clear message of Jesus Christ in a relevant and authentic way.

The festival will no doubt draw the attention of many and mobilize many Christian to pray for their unbelieving friends and invite them to know Jesus. Through it all, our goal as the body of Christ is to effectively share the eternal hope found in Jesus.

With the festival acting as a catalyst, the Christian community will be mobilized through an effort known as CityServe. As partnerships develop among churches, businesses, organizations, city leaders, and the Palau Association, followers of Christ are challenged to serve their neighbors and pray for those who don't yet know Christ.

This powerful initiative will bless the city through dozens of major service projects taking place in the months leading up to the festival. Focusing on the community's most critical needs, as defined by local city officials, CityServe gives the Christian community the opportunity to demonstrate Christ's unconditional love and compassion for the city while also clearly proclaiming the Good News.

Our long-term goal is to help facilitate a sustained Gospel Movement led by local churches and cultural leaders with a vision to continue in unity to see the city transformed through the powerful message of Jesus Christ.

Core attributes of a City Gospel Movement include:

  • Gospel-Centered: Proclaiming the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ by living out His Gospel.

  • Church-driven: Empowering the local Church to accomplish its mission as the people of God in the city.

  • Disciple-led: Equipping and letting loose disciples with passion and ideas.

  • City-focused: Collaborating with city leaders to discern the city's needs and work to meet them.
